“ The food was outstanding. Hubby had the burger with fries, and I had the veggies burger with side salad. Both were awesome. Beer and coffee were nice, too. Very friendly and efficient service. Bonus: we were allowed to have our small dog at the outside tables. And it is not easy to find a place in Whistler where you can dine with your dog, no matter the size. They even had a dog water dish. ”

“ Although I have not tried the food at RMU ( apparently its a good, fast casual menu!) - I can speak to the delicious drinks and fun atmosphere. Its a great option to check out in Backcomb base - especially the weekly events like Music trivia! ”

“ This is one of the best places to apres in Whistler. Beer, burgers, cocktails, and apres comfort food. The food did take a bit of a dive here a couple of years ago, but since they renovated the kitchen and refined the menu, the food options are very solid and consistent. The beer and cocktail list is extensive and always changing. Plus, RMU does so much for the community in terms of events, donations, karma kegs, etc that you can feel pretty good about spending your money here. It hits the perfect blend of apres energy without being a nightclub vibe. This and Handlebar (next door) are where most locals will head for an apres pint when skiing blackcomb. It can get busy, but tables usually turn over pretty quickly. Oh yeah... They make pretty good skis too. ”

“ We visited Whistler for the Cornucopia Festival in November. After a day spent wandering in the village we found RMU and were we ever glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was awesome. It's a casual atmosphere - seat yourself and order at the bar - but the food was upscale and the vibe was great. There is seating inside out outside. We sat inside but the outdoor seating was cozy with fire tables and comfy chairs. ”

“ We came here once for dinner 2021 winter, because the place we wanted to go nearby was not open. The night turned out to be the most lovely time with delicious food and drink, amazing live music and wonderful atmosphere. Today we were here again with some friends for the same reason - the place we wanted to go for lunch was not open. This time we didn’t hesitate to go to RMU. Perhaps no longer a surprise this time, the lunch once again turned out to be awesome. Most burgers on the menu have an off season price at 10$, which was a super sweet deal. We were a group of four adult and one kid. We had the smash burger (12$), chicken burger and salmon burger ($10 each). They were all great. We also had pull pork taco with regular price - three for $20. They were delicious, juicy, with a kick of green chili. The only thing that was not perfect was fries, but no complaint at all. Coffees and drinks were also on half price. At the end we ordered one more chicken burger. Everyone was satisfied with a full belly. We would definitely come back! ”
